October 14th, 2017 - Runner-up Finish With NeSmith Series at Talladega Short Track
3Following the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, Grant Garrison traveled to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Friday evening for the two-day NASCAR Weekend. Laying down the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Garrison earned the 7th-starting position for the opening night feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top 10 finish, Grant slipped back to an 11th place outing in the 40-lap affair.

3Returning on Saturday night, Garrison posted the fastest time overall in his group positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. Holding his spot for all 50 laps, Grant Garrison notched a 2nd place finish behind Riley Hickman with Jake Knowles, Ronnie Johnson, and Cruz Skinner completing the Top 5 finishers. October 7th, 2017 - Garrison Follows NeSmith Series to Oglethorpe Speedway Park
3After losing Friday night’s portion to Mother Nature, Grant Garrison returned to Oglethorpe Speedway Park (Pooler, Georgia) on Saturday for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series doubleheader. After logging the 14th fastest time in his qualifying group, Garrison placed 7th in his B-Main forcing him to rely on a provisional into the $2,000-to-win opener. Starting in 23rd, Grant gained eight spots in the 30-lapper posting a 15th place outing.

Later Saturday night, Garrison timed in eighth fastest in his qualifying group transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 5 into the main event, Grant bagged a runner-up finish behind Robert Diekemper positioning him 13th on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win finale. Dropping five spots in the 40-lap affair, Grant Garrison registered an 18th place finish.

Grant remains leading the NeSmith Series Rookie of the Year standings and is currently in second in the NeSmith Touring Series points. Full results from the racing program are available at www.NeSmithRacing.com.
